A Better Pipe Smoking Community

Came as a shock to me.

I decided to unlimber one of my own.
GLORY BE!! So much better than the majority of lighters.
Flame rises above the lighter and is drawn down into the pipe by suction. Less chance of charring the rim.
Inexpensive.
Reliable.
Repairable.
Great guarantee.
I've been using a couple of gooseneck butane lighters, which do a good job but run out of fluid far too soon. The Zippo has been trouble free and a lifesaver.
Thanks to all of you that helped place me on the straight and narrow.

What's with the "Ignore User" choice on the screen. For as friendly a bunch as we have here, it seems to me to be superflous (Oh, hell, make that unnecessary, I can spell that.)
I can't imagine joining such a friendly site and needing that choice on the menu. I live in fear that I might nudge it by mistake and forever lose the insights and companionship of one of the myriad people found here.
On a lighter note, the dog's name is Hannah and she brings love and sunshine into my/our lives. (No, that's not a picture of me on my avatar, that's Hanna, like I told you.)

I started pipe smoking as a preteen (behind the school house so to speak. Stopped some years ago and just took it back up in time for the politicians to make it very uncomfortable for me to enjoy smoking.
Screw them! I still enjoy the pleasure and peace that comes from a good pipe.
