Another dreary day here in mid-MO which means I won't get to ride my motorcycle to work. The Explorer is running great with the new tune-up, however. This morning's smoke of choice is PS LBF in a Peterson 87 apple. I love the look of this tobacco as well as the taste. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, folks!
Morning Vasco & Smokey. Sunny & hot here, maybe get a little rain later which would be welcome. Planning a steak barbeque for later this evening, but I barbeque under cover so rain is not an issue. Busy with a little work on the company financials right now. Can't say I really feel like it, but it must be done. Mrs. Muddler is the company bean counter so she's had the bulk of the work to do though - I get to do the forecast. Finishing off a bowl of FVF in a GBD apple & then I'll light up some OGS in a Pete 303 I think. Whatever you're doing this Sunday, enjoy those pipes.
starting my second pipe of the morning, PS Balkan Supreme, in a Pete #31. Don't normally smoke this one and I'm finding it quite pleasant.
Another beautiful spring day here.
Starting it off with Hal O' The Wynd in a bent Savinelli Duca Carlo. Hot coffee on the side. Contemplating yard work at the moment.
Still no smokes for me as I fight the tail end of the flu
This was sent to me by Dr. WC Douglas , thought you might be interested

Newest tobacco fear reeks of lies
Apparently the secondhand-smoke demons aren't scaring enough people... because in their latest desperate move, the Health Nazis have conjured up a new tobacco monster. They're calling it "thirdhand smoke."
That's right, folks. You can't make this stuff up.
A new study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences claims that smokers create toxic particles that linger long after their cigarette has been snuffed. The researchers are suggesting that smokers carry a little invisible cloud of these particles around with them wherever they go, kind of like that dust cloud that always follows Charlie Brown's friend Pig-Pen.
In other words, smokers are constantly contaminating everyone, everywhere, all the time with their filthy habit -- whether they're actually smoking around anyone or not.
I'm sure you can see where this is going. More rules, more laws, and less personal freedom -- all in the name of health. And sure enough, the researchers claim that the only solution is 100 percent smoke-free places. And to assure a victory, they're pulling out their ace in the hole: the children.
The scientists claim that since these particles linger on floors, walls and furniture, children who crawl around touching everything are in grave danger. Never mind that they can't present a single child -- not one! -- who's ever been harmed by this supposed health risk.
It's pure bunk designed to scare more people away from the healthy use of tobacco.
Don't believe a word of it. The truth is, smoking can save your life -- and I've got all the science to prove it.

Half and Half in a Kaywoodie Sterling.
from a beautiful and sunny West Coast of Canada. It is 10:44 PST and the day is looking mighty nice out there. The only "black cloud" is in the fact that I am unable to enjoy the pleasures to their fullest extent since I am at work :(!
Alas, there is something good to be said for a full time employment no matter how much it interferes with one's personal life.... :).
As always, McC 2015 in Stanwell 139 Brazilia (1/4 bent brandy) and the second cup of coffee on the side - much needed today since I had to be up at 05:30 and that after loosing an hour of sleep due to the tmie change.
Have a great one everyone!
Started on the treadmill with Heritage. Now puffing on Captain Bob's Blend. Pot O' Gold and Riverboat are sure to follow as the day progresses. I'll check in later... enjoy your Sunday smokes, everyone.
44 Degrees, damp, and dreary. A heavy workweek being in a couple of hours.
First smoke at 3 AM was Star of the East - quite tasty and out of character for an early puff.
At 9 AM I cracked open a jar of my Engine 99 and relished my favorite, as I probably will be doing all week long. Hence, posting in the daily thread will most likely be moot or unnecessary.
I had a long to-do list for this weekend; it's still long. Where does time go on days off?
Dark Star in an Armellini.
Pot O' Gold with Rum on the Rocks. Some Captain Bob's Blend later with Mavro Daphne of Patras (A Greek imported sweet red wine) that goes so well with CBB).
I must not overdue the liquor as I need to spend an hour or so in the RC-1 (http://flyelite.com/hardware.php?product_id=129) preparing for some flight missions I have coming up including the Chicago Show. I need to keep my skills sharp. I would never drink and fly, but I will go in the simulator. I do have a flight scheduled for Friday if the weather holds out.
Before bed I may just polish a pipe or two on the wheel while smoking Bishop's Move. I am enjoying the responses and participation under the "Pleasure of it All" Topic. Enjoy your evening, everyone!
Coyote Classic in my no name pot. A good, light english blend.
I had a Malibu Hurricane at dinner. It was *very* good, will definitely have it again.
Well, I have passed the bewildered stage and the depressed stage with regards to getting canned for no apparent reason. I am now pissed off. I wrote the Microsoft Excel program they use for *all* of their quotes, and it increased the output of the sales department 100%, literally. Some of the pages are password protected. Parting shot, I didn't leave a list of passwords. They can ask the guy whose decision it was to can me what the passwords are since I am so unimportant. Doesn't sound like much, but there is some pretty powerful stuff on those protected pages. Bah.
Coupla shots of Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum before turning in. Good night.
Is Epiphany in an AND meer. I really like this blend, right now it is one of my top three. Had a pretty calm day at work today and got off at 1. My other smoke after work was Butternut Burley in a Bing's Favorite. My wife always loves it when I smoke that one, she likes the aroma.
That's where the horrible effects of smoking are rained down upon your head for even talking about smoking or writing e-mails about smoking. Children in all the major nations are dying like flies as a result of reading billboard advertising about cigarettes. Really!! It's a known fact in places like California.
Why do I wake up at 08:00 every Saturday and Sunday instead of sleeping till noon... :-(((
Oh well, another cold and sunny day, some wind but nothing to worry about.
I've been fighting to light up some Grosemoore Plug on the Capitol without much success, I think I've relighted it more than 20 times and I'm not even at mid bowl. I totally messed up packing this time but I don't want to trash it.
