I decided to do it. I have contacted the Single Malt Society, The Cigar Aficionados and one other I cant think of right yet, with ideas and question and all have expressed interest in the OPSU.

The shop will back Me and the OPSU fully making the smoke lounge available for get togethers and tobacco for tastings....I am working some issues but I hope to be up and running by late August.

anyone want to join....membership isnt limited to Oklahoma....

no cost at all.

Ooh, bad name

I am sooooooooo anti-union ... nope I'd never go just because of the name. Not that it matters though. I think its more than an hour's drive from RI to your meetings. LOL.

That you were not a union man through and through. ;-)

You guys are messin with me!

All this talks of pipe clubs is really getting me fired up. There is a larger club an hour south of me and a smaller one 20 minutes away in the college town of Mount Pleasant (home of the Central Michigan University Chippewa's).

I may just have to pay them a visit.

OHB

I've visited the place once last year, spent 3 hours there, and could have spent 5 more!

It's just like I'd expect an old time pipe store to be. Chock full of pipes from Grabows to Dunhills, old time feel, pipe museum on the top floor.

A really neat family owned place.

I believe Paul is in his mid 90's now, but they say he still stops by the store all the time.

Small world, huh?

Good Luck

with you club or Union(I like that-I'm a retired building trades union member) or what ever you name it! Wish there was one in my area! I sometimes think I'm the only pipe smoker in Butler County MO. Nearest B&M that I know of is about 100 miles from here in Cape Girardeau.
