Good morning MPC. It's a clear cool morning in Ottawa -1C/30.2F, supposed to reach a balmy 11C/51.8F in my parts today. I'm smoking my second bowl of Brown Bogie Twist by G&H in a Peterson Donegal Rocky #999 this day (2 bowls already and it's only 6:00AM here) Hehe. Last evening I had my last 2 bowls of Coniston Cut Plug, I will be ordering more of this stuff in the future, but so many others to try. I think Henrik created a monster thanks to him I fell in love with the Twists & the Plugs, all great stuff & to me real tobacco taste with a nice hit from Lady Nicotine. Have a great day everyone. May your pipes be plentiful and flavourful this fine day. Take Care All.

Morning Jack, MPC. OK, it's just past 14h00 here. And raining & really chilly. Strange days indeed. I have a large bowl of FVF in a Pete Mark Twain, dgt'd from yesterday evening. Hope this rainy patch clears up - I'm off to the mountains with my brother next Thursday for a spot of trout fishing. Really looking forward to that - I haven't been out enough of late, largely due to the miserable weather. The odd trip to the gym helps me keep a tenuous hold on sanity. Anyway, enjoy your pipes today.
Dark and drizzling here in North Eastern Ohio this morning. About 40F but feels a heck of a lot colder with the rain. Started out for work this morning with a bowl of Black Forest in my "Knock-Around". (My trusty and inexpensive Yellow Bowl I smoke while working around the house or doing things that might damage my better pipes.) Black Forest is a really smooth blend my tobacconist makes and one of the only aromatics that I buy in bulk. Creamy smoke and a nice cinnamon spice flavor. Not much to report on anything else, just hope to have a good day!
Happy puffing!

Rainy and 50, Been that way since Sunday.
Started with Honor blend in The Rinaldo followed by PA in the X-tra for the drive to work.Getting to rely on the PA now that I've found a pipe that it likes. The (Amphora) X-tra is an estate pipe that works well as a knock around pipe. It may find a permanent place on my dashboard with the PA. I'm lucky that my experience with Va's has slowed my puffing to the point where a lot of codger blends taste pretty good to me. There's a tub of PA in my near future.
Have a great day all!
Just call me Kurt. Just call the dog Hannah. (Call her whatever you want, she won't come anyway.)

Coffee is percolating and there is a package of donettes from the vending machine on my desk. Very much looking forward to vacation next week, trying hard not to over-schedule it.
The show starts back up again tonight so more than likely no smoke tonight or tomorrow. I'll try to get one in on Saturday at least.
Time to get to it. Y'all take care!
Rainy but mild here in Buffalo, NY. Have to take the Jeep into the mechanic so they can take care of the "clunk" in the steering. No pipe yet, but plan on loading up a bowl of OJK when I return. Will be plenty of pipes while I'm stuck in the house waiting for the truck to be finished.
Hope you all have a great day. Enjoy.
Near 70F later today in LV. FVF in a Sasieni. I ordered a lb of FVF, 2oz of Chelsea Morning, a tin of Peterson Perfect Plug and a 100g tin of PH Curly. Have a great day MPC.

it's a bit warmer in the 50s but no less dreary. I usually wait for someone else (normally muddler) to lead off here and I've been checking every couple hours since 4AM (0900 GMT).
I binged quite a bit yesterday. After my Engine 99 and some of my C&D concoction, I smoked a big bowl of C&D's Pirate Kake (which my wife has blessed as "smells good). Two hours later, more Engine 99. At 3 PM with the sunny warmth I raided my humidor for a nice Nicaraguan corona which I leisurely smoked with some home-made wine. In other words, task list was not shortened whatsoever. In fact wife came home from work at 4:50 to find me asleep, upright, in my easy chair with a TV remote in one hand and an empty pipe in the other. She disarmed me and left the sleeping dog to lie...
until 1 AM today in fact. Brewing a fresh pot of joe, I loaded up some Margate to begin today, followed by some more Engine 99 after breakfast at 6. Now, where did I put that to-do list?
Happiness is a warm pipe.
Yet another chilly morning here in the ozarks. Duck season opens tomorrow, Yaaaa! Starting the day with some Beacon in a Jack Howell Billiard, as always coffee alongside....
Later On

It's raining here too, and first smoke of the day is some University flake in a Butz-Choquin Mirage.
Have an awesome evening!

You say potato, I say vodka.
... It's Wisconsin and we want snow today!
Two Friends Heritage followed by Pot O' Gold. Also have CBB in the briefcase, too. Three pipes with me. The 7 inch L'Anatra Canadian, a no name quarter bent sandlasted pot and the Cavicchi "5c" Canadian.
Enjoy your smokes, everyone!

Enjoying a bowl of McClelland Grey Havens in a Stanwell Colonial #166 bent brandy. Having coffee outside on perfect fall day. Hope everyone is having a great day!

have had a dreadfull cold, and been way too tired to log on when I get home from work in the evenings.
anyway, today I have smoked some Best Brown flake. something strange has happened, I think this VA smokes WAY cooler than Prince Albert, hm, it's all topsy turvy
Today looked more like Spring than Autumn, but no flowers in the fields I'm afraid. No rain, maybe tomorrow. Temps are in the 20's ºC, too hot for November.
Got a call today from one of the VIP in Portuguese pipe smoking (he was my boss a few years ago), I may be helping to setup a new web site for the Portuguese Pipe Club, much probably there will be no money involved but I may taste some seriously good tobacco. :-)
This morning it was Gawith Hoggarth Run Flake but it doesn't work all that well for a car smoke, OGS or Union Square are much better for that.
The afternoon smoke was Squadron Leader and now I'm enjoying a bowl of Union Square on the Vielle Bruyere billiard. This is a very good VA, I wish I had the money to buy and cellar a few Kgs. It's a midway tobacco, between the traditional FVF and the high tech OGS, but it should be amazing if aged for a few years.
Have a nice day.

Relaxing with the pup and watching the tube. Loaded a bowl of OJK in a Windjammer.
Frog Morton in a big Ser Jac. To begin with.
Tim
I had a bowl of Eileen's Dream, a Irish Cream and White Chocolate Truffle flavored aromatic. Quite nice!
Back from work and plunking here with an oilcan and Milan's Sportsman in a pete aran B10. Sportsman's not too sweet to overpower the Foster's, good combo for a so-so tobac, IMHO.
Slow night at the testline and the Retriever and Black Forest worked well.
Wel, Z's before a rough day on the courts, everyone enjoy,
Bob
