About me

I am "The Big Kahuna" on my-pipes.net. Now that's out there we can move on to other things.

For the most part I am a relaxed Dane (not a great one), living in Hvidovre, a city in the outskirts of Copenhagen (it's a 10 minute trip). I live here with my wife and our wonderful computers. My every day life is about computers. I work as a the acting CTO / CIO in a major Danish real-estate company in central Copenhagen.

When I'm not at work I spend my time lounging at the computer, either playing some games, checking out what's going on here at the forum, on facebook, twitter or any of the other popular sites. When creativity gets to me, I turn to programming (or coding as we say these days). The programming languages of choice are C, C++ and Objective-C. The latter has gotten a lot more attention recently as I finally got my hands on an Apple iMac. I could be considered a convert, I guess. Oh well, heck. I am!

Since I'm running this place, the pipe obviously has a big place in my life, and it gets due attention with a regular offering of Orlik Golden Sliced in a random Stanwell pipe from my rather large pipe collection. I haven't purchased any new pipes in over a year. I'm doing my best not to give into the temptation since finances are tight and all.
